Stand in an upright position with your feet shoulder-width apart, place the level between your legs and raise it towards your groin using pressure similar to the one used when sitting on the bike saddle. Align the level with the floor and measure the distance between the floor and the top edge of the level. Make the measurement with no shoes on.
